So your teeth can make it through the season in good condition, here are five tips to help you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.littletondentalstudio.com\/preventive-dentistry.html\">prevent an oral health emergency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip #1: Brush<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Brushing your teeth twice per day for two minutes is always\na key part of maintaining a healthy smile. With the increased number of sugary\nand carb-heavy treats at your disposal during the holidays, it\u2019s arguably even\nmore important to keep your teeth clean. For optimal results, use a\nsoft-bristled toothbrush to avoid damaging your tooth enamel. Fluoride\ntoothpaste will also help strengthen your teeth and protect them from decay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip #2: Floss <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Flossing at least once per day should be part of your normal\noral health routine, but you might want to do it even more during the holidays.\nIf you can\u2019t resist trying one of your coworker\u2019s homemade sugar cookies, this\nwill help remove food, bacteria, and plaque stuck between your teeth to lessen\nyour chances of developing cavities. Fill up on protein-packed meats\nand veggies like lean beef, turkey, chicken, fish, asparagus, Brussels sprouts,\npeas, and broccoli instead.
